My name is Michaela, and I'm a 20 year old spending the semester abroad in Cape Town, South Africa. I'm studying politics and economics at Villanova University, but am temporarily a student at the University of Cape Town. This blog is intended to show the world how cool Africa really is. Although many countries need further development, its no longer the "dark continent", is nothing to be afraid of, and has a lot to offer the world.
